At the age of 22 years, when most of the young
people like us were dreaming of good job, Ac Office,Car and so on, Lt. Saurabh Kalia gave the (Photo Courtesy: http:\\www.rediff.com ) ultimate sacrifice for this country. He was the first hero of Kargil War along with five other jawans who were captured by enemy and brutally murdered. When I say murdered I really mean it. In war one soldier killed other one but Lt. Saurabh Kalia and other five jawans were murdered. when the bodies of these six soldiers were returned, they were in such a bad shape that even devil will cry....they were barbarically tortured for 22 days and then their mutilated human bodies were returned to Indian Army. When there bodies were returned there were no eyes, there ear were filled some molten glass, there were several spots of cigaratte burns, there private organs were cut and lot's more and thanks god there was no hue and cry from International community and so called Human rights Commission who are experts in making mountain out of hill...
I still remember the time when Intrusion happened in 1999.. we all were watching Cricket World Cup and even was not aware that we are under attack. Kargil war was judged as one of the most difficult battle fought till now because of adverse geographical condition but kudos to people like Lt. Saurabh Kalia and others that we are still safe and celebrating our 61st Independence Day...
I am not a good writer but this is a small initiative from my side to unearth such heros without whom this country will not be as it is today.

I am glad that I am providing my comments on such a nice blog. You may not be a good writer but no body needs excellent writing skills to show how much they value their brave soldiers and nation.
This blog does not belongs to you now, it belongs to a 5000 year civilization who is struggling to understand and realise its core values.
My salute to Indian Army and our brave soldiers. I may not have the honor to fight in the battle field like them, but I will continue my fight for my nation with a pen.
